Nice to order or borrow
- World Changing - A User's Guide to the 21st Century
- Cradle to Cradle - remaking the way we make things
- Hot, Flat and Crowded by Thomas Friedman. Wanna know what Obama will do next on the green frontier? Give this one a look. Nice as audio-book, too (contact max 06 on this)
- Good to Great - why some companies (and organisations) make the leap and others don't
- Collapse - How Societies Choose to Fail or Succeed
- Future Positive - International Co-operation in the 21st Century by Michael Edwards - a must for development aid workers!
- Resonant Leadership - how to lead through emotional intelligence and mindfullness.
- The Fifth Discipline Fieldbook - Strategies for Building a Learning Organisation.
- Ausgebrannt - A environmental thriller based on fossil energies depletion, unhopefully so far only available in german and french. Well written (by Andreas Eschbach). A good novel, sustainability is not just about serious books :).
- The World Without Us - a fascinating book about the planet would react, if human were to vanish suddently. Highly relevant for resource managers because the author covers many different topics such as farming, oil industry, wildlife, cities, etc. The book is a mixed insight into chemistry, physics, building construction, water management, wildlife, history and much more. Well written and very entertaining. Also scary about the condition of our planet: the 250 billion pounds of plastic that is produced and ends up….in the ocean.

Or check out the TED talk!
if books are in the library, it may be good to post links to that here, too.
