Dear SRMs! (Please read this through carefully!)
Welcome to the new semester!
How would you feeling like joining other students for a weekend of inspiration, fun, good food, energising workshops and lovely people? Does that sound good? It gets better!
This is no ordinary workshop weekend! Why? Because it will be filled by you and your ideas, experiences and wishes! The idea is, that any SRM student can offer workshops for the other students. For example, if somebody has experience in waste management and would like to share this with the others, then he or she can book time during the weekend and invite other students to join the workshop.
How does this work?
Send me (Hanno Langfelder ed.mut.wzw.tsrof|reerac#ed.mut.wzw.tsrof|reerac) an email with your name, the title of your workshop, a very short description and how much time you will need (try to keep it to 1,5 hours). Send this information by November 30, 2009.
When: Friday Dec 11. - Sunday Dec 13, 2009
Where: Jugendhaus Wilhelm-Präger-Haus, Riederau, Ammersee Bavaria - Check out the photos!
Who: all SRM students - only 25 places available!
What: workshops, eating and cooking together, connecting with each other
Costs per student: € 30,- (the remaining costs are covered by the Career Service)
To join the weekend, just send me an email or come past my office (Green Finger room 1.2 1.2.0) by November 30, 2009. Please pay the € 30,- in advance. You can secure a place by paying in advance.
There will be a short pre-meeting for the SRM weekend on Tuesday December 1, 2009 at 16:00 in seminar room 7b.
Pass this information on to your colleagues and discuss workshop ideas with them.
Any questions? Please contact me at any time!
Cheers!

Parties
(post parties here)
Would it be better to post parties under news in the forum or here under events?
I think it would be good if we find some way so that events are automatically deleted once they have taken place (after expiration). That would save work. Any suggestions?
The best way would be to integrate a calender in the wiki. Then we could also subscribe to certain events etc.
Hanno
Yep, that would be the best way. We need to check out the customization possibilities. I'll see what info is out there and forward it to Arman.
yes…calendar approach sounds good !!! I hope we can integrate it in ..Arman can be of good help..he knows a lot of stuff and has previous experience too.
